One blade. Zero flex
We pushed the same steel rod against three blades. Only one stayed exactly where it was.

A blade that moves can't hold its angle. Mossae clamps one blade between a machined cap and base, so every stroke cuts the same way, first pass to last.
Expensive to buy.
Nearly free after
Standard cartridge users spend an average of $200 a year on refills alone. With Mossae, your first year of blades is included, free.

Cartridges drag.
Classics wander.
Mossae holds 30°.
Same stroke. Same skin. Three razors, one difference: the angle.
A cartridge pivots and drags, five blades over the same patch. A classic safety razor fixes that, then hands you the angle to find yourself, stroke after stroke, anywhere from 15° to 45°. Too flat, it tugs. Too steep, it irritates.
Mossae holds one blade at a fixed 30°, machined into the head. Rest it flat, don't press, and every stroke lands at the right angle. Nothing to learn.
What's the difference?
Not all single blades are equal. What matters is how firmly the head holds the edge, and how much you have to learn before it works.

See what men are saying after they made the switch

Thirty years of cartridges wrecking my neck. First shave with this and I knew. No burn, no bumps, closest shave of my life.

The Mossae Razor

The weight does everything, you barely touch your face. Feels like a proper tool. Blades cost me pennies now instead of £15 a pack.

The Mossae Razor

Sensitive skin my whole life. This is the only razor that doesn't leave me with weepers and red patches the next day.

The Mossae Razor

Took a couple of shaves to find the angle, then it clicked. Now it's the best part of my morning. Wish I'd switched years ago.

The Mossae Razor

Solid metal, no plastic to snap. This is the last razor I'll ever buy. Already ordered blades for the whole year.

The Mossae Razor
Twenty years of the same routine. Same burn.
Five blades, thick gel, and by mid-morning: burning patches along the jaw, red bumps on the neck that took days to fade. I told myself it was normal. It's what everyone does, so you stop questioning it.
It isn't normal. It's the blade count and the pressure it forces on your skin. One blade, held at the right angle, removes that entirely: no burn, no bumps, first shave.
That's why Mossae exists.
And unlike the cartridges it replaces, it pays for itself within the year.
Founder, Mossae
Built for every inch
Face, neck or head: one blade locked at 30°. Same angle, same comfort, wherever you shave.

Frequently asked questions
Everything men ask before they make the switch
Why one blade instead of five?
Five blades means five scrapes over the same patch of skin on every stroke, long after the first one has done the work. One sharp blade cuts each hair cleanly in a single pass, so your skin only gets touched once.
Why does a fixed angle matter?
Every blade has an angle where it slices hair cleanly. Too flat and it tugs, too steep and it irritates. A classic safety razor leaves you to find that angle on every stroke, which is where the weeks of practice come from.
On Mossae, 30° is machined into the head. Rest it flat and the blade is already where it should be.
I've never used a safety razor. Will I get it wrong?
There's very little to get wrong. You don't tilt it and you don't press it. Rest the head flat on your skin and draw it down with the grain. Your first shave might take a few extra minutes. By the end of the first week, it's routine.
What about my neck and under the jaw?
That's where most men are nervous, and where cartridges cause the most irritation. The head rests flat, a closed safety bar sits ahead of the blade, and the angle stays the same as you follow the curve of the jaw.
Short strokes, no pressure, with the grain. Necks are usually the last to settle, so give it a week.
My skin is sensitive. Is this for me?
It's the reason Mossae exists. A lot of what feels like sensitive skin is skin that's been scraped by five blades every morning for years. One blade and no pressure, and most men notice a calmer neck within the first week. If yours still disagrees after 100 days, send it back.
Do I need a brush and soap?
Any good lather works: cream, gel or soap. The richer the lather, the better the blade glides. A brush builds that lather faster and lifts the hairs before the blade arrives, so it's worth adding if you want the full ritual.
What blades does it take, and what do they cost?
Any standard double-edge blade, sold in pharmacies and on Amazon for around 10p each. No branded refills, no locked cabinet. Your first 100 are in the box, which is about a year of shaving.
Can I shave my head with it?
Yes. A fixed angle matters most where you can't see what you're doing. Rest it flat and work with the grain, the same as on your face.
How long will it last?
Years, not months. It's machined from solid aluminium, with no plastic, springs or pivot to wear out. Rinse it, let it dry, change the blade when it dulls. That's all the care it needs.
When will it arrive, and what if it's not for me?
Orders ship within 24 hours, tracked and free, and arrive in 6 to 10 days. Then you have 100 days to try it. If it isn't the best shave you've had, send it back for a full refund. Returns are free.
